About us
Samuel John Photography is a photography company owned by Dwight and Amy Morgendal. Based in the iconic town of Oudtshoorn, Samuel John Photography offers portrait photography packages, tailored to meet our clients' needs.

The name of our company comes from our son, Samuel John Morgendal.
Samuel was born prematurely at 5 months, weighing 350g. Though he had a very strong heartbeat, unfortunately, he was too small for the doctors to try to preserve his life. He went into eternity to be with Jesus 2 hours after his birth on 3 February 2021.
​
We thank God for the few moments that we got to spend with him. Though we may not understand, we simply trust that God is Sovereign and we trust His Will.

We look forward to honoring Samuel's memory by capturing the moments that warm your heart!
